What I love most about e-design is that I can help people from across the world!
This client reached out to me, looking for some design help with a patio they had just built alongside their new house. They had a huge backyard with this flagstone patio and pergola area, but just no idea how to use it or style it.

The Design
After getting the dimension of the space and a few pictures, I created a floor plan and design visualizer for a multi-zone patio space.
I wanted it to be a mixed space that both adults and kids could enjoy. In the design, I took full advantage of the corner pergola, placing a lot of hanging baskets and even a hanging chair for reading (or napping).

The Results!
After we had agreed on the design, I sent my client links to all the items in the design, sourcing most of the items from Wayfair and Amazon. She already had the gorgeous whiskey barrels, which complimented the space wonderfully.
Armed with the design and her shopping list, my client did an amazing job of pulling everything together in this final look!

I love seeing clients reveal photos. Just being able to see the after is so satisfying for me. I am so proud of this space and how it came together for this family. It is no longer a useless structure in the corner of their back yard, but now a mini-retreat where this family can all enjoy much-needed downtime, evening date nights, and quiet afternoons in the sun.

The multi-zone layout for the flagstone patio is genius—I love how you turned that huge backyard into distinct spaces instead of one overwhelming area. I've been trying to figure out a similar setup for my own pergola, so this is exactly the inspiration I needed. https://meshyai.pro

The hanging chair under the pergola is such a great touch—that's exactly the kind of spot I'd want to curl up in with a book. I love how you managed to make the space work for both adults and kids without it feeling cluttered or chaotic. Speaking of getting the details right, I've been using a scroll test online lately to fine-tune my mouse before I dive into long design sessions, since nothing kills productivity like a janky scroll wheel when you're flipping through furniture catalogs. The multi-zone layout really paid off here—it looks like the perfect little retreat.
The multi-zone layout for that flagstone patio is genius—turning one big open space into separate hangout spots really makes it feel intentional. I’ve been using a similar approach for my own backyard, and this visualizer idea is exactly what I needed to see it through. Check out https://aivideoonline.com
The multi-zone layout is such a smart way to handle a big flagstone patio—that visualizer must have made it so easy for them to see it come together. I've been using a similar approach for my own backyard, and this gives me a few new ideas to try. https://free-ai-video.com
