I love the drama these over sized glass vases being on my dining room table add to the room. I found them at Home Sense Canada in the clearance aisle for $9 each guys!!! So you know I was all over that! I love adding seasonal florals to them. When they are dressed up with flowers, they instantly become a dramatic focal point in the space. If you don't have fresh florals then use some faux florals. Falsies are my fave! I usually have faux hydrangeas in my jugs on this table. I love that I can't kill them and they always look great, haha! I will say Michael's and even some dollar stores have a great selection of some pretty realistic looking faux florals for a decent price.
Don't forget to check out your local thrift store for glass decor. My thrift store always has a great sized selection of different glass vases, jugs, candle sticks and bowls....
Did you find a great vase at a thrift store, but hate the colour?? Spray paint it! Mostly all spray paints work on glass. In the picture below I spray painted out 3 mini wine bottles in Rustoleum spray chalk paint in Serenity Blue.
Here I just spray painted a bunch of random left over vases I had kicking around. By grouping them together, tucking in some faux florals (Dollar Tree) and spraying them all the same colour, they become an attractive centerpiece for our kitchen table. Click here for the colour I used to spray paint them.
Hopefully this post has given you guys some simple ways to use inexpensive glass or vases in your decor! Let me know if you guys have any questions or comments on this post below. Have a great day guys!
Love,
Dale xo
